Obituary of Caroline Marie Fossey
Passed suddenly on September 16, 2024 at the age of 65 in Smiths Falls after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Elizabeth Fossey, Caroline leaves behind her loving brother Bill (Carol Anne Genereaux), and sister Arlene (Connie). She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Arlene’s children Danielle, Dayna, and Jeanette, along with their partners and families, as well as by Bill’s children Adam, Leanne, and their families. She will be deeply missed by her close friend Lois Brown, and fondly remembered by all her friends in Perth and Smiths Falls. Caroline loved her animals and was loved by them. She was passionate about raising Belgian Shepherds, five of them predeceasing her, and greatly enjoyed showing and breeding. Her present dog, Rage, is a beautiful example of the quality canines she loved and nurtured over the years. Caroline was also very passionate about horses, but unfortunately her health did not allow her to pursue her dream of breeding and showing in the equine circles. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. If desired, memorial donations to the Blegian Shepherd Dog Club of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
