Basiliki (Vicky) Rapou passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 18, 1946 in Vevi, Florina, Greece and immigrated to Canada in 1956. In her early career Vicky worked at Canada Life and later became a waitress for the family restaurant for many years.
Vicky will be forever missed by her cherished Sister Helen (Pascali) and her loving brother Louis (Alexandra). She leaves behind her nieces and nephews Mary, Linda, Jim, Diane, Sylvia, Minnie, Steve and ten grandnieces and grandnephews.
She is predeceased by her mother Marika and father Savas and her brother Nick and sister-in-law Goula.
Vicky greatly enjoyed spending time with family, dining out, and watching her favourite movies and soap operas.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, on Sunday July 21, 2024 from 3-7 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church on Monday July 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Elgin Mills Cemetery.
