CERASUOLO, Angelo
It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Angelo at his home on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. He is now reunited with his beloved wife Ann (nee Matejic). Born in Pico Farnese, Frosinone, Italy, June 6, 1938, Angelo was just shy of his 86th birthday.
Son of the late Carmine and late Amalia (nee Zullo). Brother of the late Alfonsina (late Antonio) Proietti, Orlando (Isabella), late Elena (late Luigi) Gallo, Alessandro (Maria). Son-in-law of the late Matthew and Kathleen Matejic. Brother-in-law of the late George Matejic (Maralyn)
Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his dear nephew, the late Joe Cerasuolo. Loving cousin to many in Canada and Italy. Special cousin and friend to Vittorio and his wife Lilliana Zullo. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to his wonderful neighbours, especially Noel, who provided him with care and assistance in his time of need. Special thank you to the first responders and to Dr. Phil Evans, Nurse Reid and the staff at the SAH Emergency Department for their compassion and care.
Family and friends may call at the O’Sullivan Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 10am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Parish at 11:30am with Father Michael Omojola officiating. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family, which may be made payable by cheque or following the link below.
