Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Jack passed away at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Eloise Nesbitt for 66 years. Loving father of Bonnie VanGrimberghe (late Jim), Rob, Steve (Cathy), Bryan, Michelle Turcotte (Brian) and Vickie Davis. Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Chris and Justin VanGrimberghe, Steven Nesbitt, Natasha St. Louis, Rebecca Steinhoff and Chelsea Nesbitt, Brendan and Casey Newby, Sierra and Ryan Turcotte. Also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandson. Dear sister of Gwen Lumley (Gene) and brother of Ron Nesbitt (Julie). Predeceased by his mother, Evelyn Underwood. Cremation has taken place and in keeping with Jack’s wishes, a private family service has been held. Family and friends will be received at a Celebration of Jack’s Life on Friday, October 11th, between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 286 Front Street, Sarnia, Ontario.
