In Loving Memory of Penny Anne Muriel (Clarke) Henry
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Penny Anne Muriel (Clarke) Henry on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the age of 78, at Marshall Gowland Manor. Beloved wife of Kenneth Henry, cherished mother of Deanna Henry (Jean Paul Tillapaugh) and Kevin Henry (Michelle Little Henry), and devoted grandmother to Kaitlynn and Devin Henry.
Penny was the daughter of the late Doris (née Liness) and William Cecil Clarke. She is predeceased by her brothers Rick and Bill Clarke, her nephew Steven Clarke, and her sister-in-law Ricky Lascelles. She will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, Kelly Baughan (née Doohan), Todd Doohan, and Kelly Clarke; her sisters-in-law Dorothy Doohan, Audrey Henry, and Shirley Clarke; her brothers-in-law Bob Henry and Bill Doohan; and many extended family members and friends.
Penny dedicated her career to nursing at Tullamore Nursing Home in Brampton, where she provided compassionate care for many years until her retirement.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Marshall Gowland Manor for the exceptional care and compassion they provided Penny over nearly nine years.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to honour her life will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 210 Michigan Road in Point Edward on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment of her ashes will follow at Sutherland Cemetery in Courtright.
