Unexpectedly, on Friday, September 27, 2024, Mark Rhude passed away at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Kim Rhude for 32 years. Loving father of Warren “Charlie” George, Leanne George, and Harley George. Cherished grandfather of Stone Mandoka. Dear brother of Warren (Line) Rhude and Scott (Cathe) Rhude and remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Orval and Catherine “Kay” Rhude, and reunited with the love of his life, his pup Toby. Mark was a Boilermaker in Sarnia for many years. He enjoyed carpentry, golfing, bowling, playing chess, and “gardening”. He was an avid fan of the Red Wings, the Tigers, and the Lions. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received to celebrate Mark’s life at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Interment of ashes at Resurrection Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please).
