TANGUAY, Denis Andrew passed away peacefully on August 31st, 2024 at the age of 84 with family by his side at Bluewater Health Palliative Care. Beloved husband of the late Huguette Tanguay (2000). Survived by his sons Michael and Denis Jr, dear brother of Louise (Ray) Kovacs, Richard (Barbara) Tanguay, Rachel (Ivan) Landry and Gisele (Norman) Tisi. Predeceased by his parents Adrien and Jeannette, and his son Mark, daughters Lorraine, Bernadette and brother Richard. Denis spent most of his career working as an engineer at the Esso Imperial Oil Refinery (PVC Unit). Denis was a devoted Catholic and spent a lot of his time volunteering within the community. The family would like to thank the staff at Vision Rest Home Sarnia, Bear Creek Terrace Long Term Care Home Petrolia and Bluewater Health Sarnia Palliative Care for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life to honor Denis will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
