Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Betsy Darby passed away at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Jim Darby. She leaves behind two sons, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Betsy was an outgoing and positive presence who always had a smile on her face despite the challenges that she faced throughout life. Her uplifting spirt was especially felt by the lives she touched while working as a Unit Helper at Sarnia General Hospital. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be gathered to celebrate Betsy’s life at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Bluewater Health Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
