It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Ron who passed away at his home in Burlington, on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the age of 96. Reunited with his beloved wife, Doreen Barber, to whom he was lovingly married to for 53 years before her passing in 2009. Cherished father to Catherine Barber of Calgary, Ron (Debbie) Barber of Brantford, Andy (Kathy) Barber of Elmira and Gary Barber of Burlington. Proud grandfather to Todd (Natalie), Trevor (Tiffany), Daniel, David, Jessica (Josh), Katelyn (Jeremy), Stephanie (Courtney), Elizabeth (Brad), Isabella, Victoria and great-grandfather to Tyler, Kyle, Khloe, Matthew, Austyn, Damian, William, Ivy and Zoé. Dearly missed by his sister Carol (Derek) Greenall. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends across Canada. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Gladys Barber as well as his siblings Joan and Lewis. Ron may be gone from this world; however, he lives on in the stories and memories he has left with all those he touched during his lifetime. As per Ron’s wishes, and those of his family a private cremation will be taking place.
