McDonald: Suzanne Marie (née DeCook) –
Suzanne McDonald passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the age of 63.
Born in Chatham, Suzanne was the daughter of the late Frank and Corrie (née De Beck) DeCook.
Beloved partner of 14 years to Ray Jackson of Thamesville.
Loving mother of Adrian McDonald (Kellsy Henry) and Greg McDonald (Samantha).
Survived by her grandson Ollie McDonald.
Dear sister to MaryAnne Vandenbroere (Ron), Michael DeCook (Mary), the late Andy DeCook (Dorothy), Albert DeCook (Barb) and the late Jeff DeCook.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Suzanne was a loyal member and past Treasurer of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 367 in Thamesville.
As per Suzanne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and her family will remember her privately.
Donations made in memory of Suzanne to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
