Moore, Larry Clifford
A resident of Chatham, Larry Moore passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Thursday, October 31st, 2024 at the age of 80.
He was the son of the late Clifford & Daisy (nee Smith) Moore.
Predeceased by his brothers, Ralph Adrian, Jack Adrian and sister, Shirley Beck (Lester), as well as her sons Jerry Beck & Paul Beck (Susan).
Survived by brother, Ross Adrian, sister-in-law, Rejane Adrian, nephews, David Beck (Joyce), Bruce Adrian (the late Janet), Scott Adrian, Steve Adrian, Chris Adrian, Roy Doxtator, Timothy Adrian and nieces, Susan Beck-Du Puy (Mark), Janice Shaw (Steve), Kathy Adrian, Corinne Chalmers (Bill), & Ruthanne.
Great-uncle of Kayla, Cara Lackey, & Jodi Chalmers.
Predeceased by aunt, Beatrice Moore.
Larry was part of Chatham-Kent Community Living where he enjoyed spending time with his friends. He collected wallets, watches, model cars and planes. He was fond of old western attire, and recently attended his latest rodeo. Larry always ensured his sound system was up to date so he would be able to listen to his country western and gospel music. An avid movie buff, he had every movie he could get his hands on. Larry will forever be missed by his family and friends.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of 3E at Riverview Gardens Long Term Care for their friendship with Larry over the years along with the staff of Community Living Chatham-Kent.
Cremation has taken place with a Graveside Service being held on Tuesday morning at 10:30 am at Morpeth Cemetery, Morpeth. All are welcome to attend.
Friends are welcome to continue celebrating Larry’s life on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the McKinlay Reception Centre, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Paul McPhail as officiate.
