CAMERON: Jean (née Fraser) –
A resident of Botany, Jean Cameron passed away peacefully at the Village on the Ridge with family at her side on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the age of 91.
Born in Ridgetown, Jean was the daughter of the late Alexander and Kate (née Mitton) Fraser.
Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Douglas Cameron (2020).
Loving mother of the late Deborah Boyd (2016) (Randall) and Paul Cameron (Roseanne).
Proud Grandma to Mitchell Boyd (Katie), Kate Boyd, Gregory Cameron (Kate) and Philip Cameron (Michelle).
Great-Grandma to Ben Boyd, Ellie Boyd, Zoey Cameron and Wesley Cameron.
Predeceased by her sister Ruth Fox (late Earl).
Special aunt to the late Margaret Fox, Laura McIntosh and Kathy Fulmer.
Also missed by friends and extended family.
Jean enjoyed her time raising her family on the farm in the Botany community.
Special thanks to the staff at the Village on the Ridge for taking such good care of Jean over the years. Your compassion and care did not go unnoticed.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00am on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
Donations made in memory of Jean to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
