Obituary of Frank Kiekens
A longtime resident of Tilbury, Frank Kiekens passed peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Sun Parlor Home surrounded by his family.
He was the son of the late Louis & Marie (nee Braché) Kiekens.
Frank will be lovingly reunited with his wife, Verna Kiekens (nee Deloge).
Cherished by his children, Larry Kiekens, Barbara Marchand (Allen) and Jody Demers (Wayne).
Loving grandpa of Jennifer (Matt), the late Joel, Devon (Vikki), Erika, & Michael (Holly).
Proud Great-grandpa of Jaxson, Bruce, Dakota, Travis & Caleb.
Predeceased by his siblings, Von (the late Helen), Tena (the late Bill), Rose (the late Fred), Margaret, Mary, Joe (the late Clara), Jim and his brother & sister-in-laws, Cecile (the late Elzy), Dorothy (the late Herman), Roy, Florence (the late Isodore), Margaret (the late Marcel), Helen, Lucille, Donald (the late Eleanor), Ike & Percy (the late Rosemary).
Survived by brother-in-law, Joe Monpetit and sister-in-law, Bea Kiekens.
Dear companion of the late Estella Van Dommelen and survived by many nieces & nephews.
Frank retired after 30 years of service with Meritor, formerly Rockwell, as a Labourer. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus of Tilbury. Frank enjoyed to spend his time gardening, fishing, hunting and had a soft spot for animals. He will forever be missed by his family and friends.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Kathleen from Amy’s Helping Hands for her unwavering support, care and compassion with Frank. Along with the staff of 3E of Sun Parlor.
The family to receive friends on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 10:00 am until a Funeral Liturgy at 12:00 pm to Celebrate Frank’s Life. Burial to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Tilbury.
In memory of Frank, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue.
