Obituary of Ford Murray Keillor
Ford Murray Keillor
1943-2024
A resident of Ridgetown passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance after a very brief diagnosis with PMP cancer on Sunday, February 11, 2024 in his 81st year.
Ford was the son of the late Murray and Betty Keillor
Beloved husband of 57 years to Anne (DeKoning) Keillor
Loving father of Dana (James), Pete (Danielle) and the late Phil Keillor (Lindsay).
Proud Papa of Olivia “Liv” and Myla Keillor.
Dear brother of Warren (Alison) of Kingston.
Also survived by his brother-in-law Bob DeKoning (Janice) of Wallaceburg, their 3 children and families.
Ford was a passionate collector of art glass, paintings, and pre-war toys. His searches for these treasures took him to many countries. He enjoyed the hunt and if it was old he loved the history behind it and shared his knowledge with other collectors and enthusiasts.
As per Ford’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Ford to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
