Peacefully, with his wife by his side, David McCann passed away on June 25, 2024 at the age of 63.
Born in Toronto on March 14, 1961, David was the son of Kevin and Beatrice (née Stapleton) McCann.
Beloved husband of 13 years to Nadia McCann.
David’s memory will be forever cherished by his Mother-in-law, Anita Di Piccoli and Father-in-law Elio (Paula) Di Mascolo.
Loving Step-father to Michael Di Mascolo.
He is survived by Two Sisters, Patricia (Steve) McCann, and Anne Marie (Tom) Kosichek.
David will be missed by his niece, Candice McCann, and Nephew, Norman Hubbard, and many extended family members and friends.
David had a passion for animals and will be missed by his cats Rascal, Baby, and Acer. He was a people person who could carry on a conversation with anyone over coffee and was always there to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and exploring nature. David was quite the comedian and could put a smile on anyone’s face.
Donations made in memory of David to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
David will be resting at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, June 29th from 1:00 pm until a Funeral Liturgy at 2:00 pm.
