Nicholson: Betty Ann (née Coate) –
A resident of Duart, Betty Ann Nicholson passed away at the Four Counties Hospital in Newbury on March 5, 2024 at the age of 81.
Born in Hagersville, Ontario in 1942 to Henry and Doris (Vagley) Coate.
Beloved wife of 41 years to Jack Nicholson.
Sister of Henry “Butch” & Cheryl Coate and Linda & Dan Nother. Aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Betty Ann was an avid Gardner, dutifully tending her many gardens, lilacs being her flower of choice and yellow being her favorite color. She enjoyed going for rides with Jack in their 1963 Ford Fairlane when Jack was home from being on the road as a truck driver. In keeping with Betty Ann’s wishes cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Betty Ann can be made to your local Salvation Army Branch.
