Obituary of Kenneth John Hoare
Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our brother Ken. Ken was born on April 18, 1953, in Renfrew, Ontario. He was educated in Renfrew and graduated high school in 1971.
As a young adult Ken was adventurous. He enjoyed skiing and camping when he was a teenager. After high school he travelled to Europe and backpacked through several countries. When returning home he made his way to British Columbia, where he stayed and worked for several years. He has a great fondness for riding his Honda Goldwing motorcycle and driving his Fiat sports car. He returned home to make a living but eventually made his way back to British Columbia. His final years were spent in south eastern Ontario.
Ken is predeceased by his parents Arnold and Cassandra (Clarke) Hoare. He is survived by his siblings, Jim Clarke (Leah), Vivian Freitag (late Ernie), Sandra Mahusky (Jerry), Robert Hoare (Glenda) and Elizabeth Nolan (nee Hoare). Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will follow at a later date.
Our family would like to give our sincere thanks to all of the people involved who helped us bring Kenny home.
Life’s paths can be steep and rocky and lead us in many directions. Ken’s were harder than most, but they still led him home.
Our brother Ken, home at last.
Donations in memory of Ken may be made to the charity of your choice.
