It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gus, peacefully, on April 11,2024 in Brockville, Ontario.
Loving husband of Solange. Devoted father to Scot (Tanya), Stuart (Sue), Stephen (Sandra) and Spencer (Annie). Stepfather to Mark Gallant (Ottawa) and Lisa Gallant (Kemptville). Proud poppy to Mary, Turner, Darby, Max, Parker, Ginger, Payton and Morgan. Step-poppy to Kelsea and Nathalie Mann.
Gus moved his young family to Prescott, Ontario in 1978, where he became the “Little Dealer with the Big Heart” Riverside Pontiac Buick GMC Dealership.
He has been an active member of the Canadian Legion since 1978. Also has achieved 52 years as a Mason of the Grand Lodge of A.F. & A.M. of Canada in the Province of Ontario.
Gus generously supported numerous charitable and sporting events in the community. He loved his adopted “little” town.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers at the Brockville General Hospital.
