Obituary of Kenneth Albert Massey
Kenneth Massey passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Wednesday December 18th 2024. Dad was a very kind, thoughtful man who has just reunited with Audrey, his only love. Beloved father of Shelley (Terry White) and Steven Massey (Rochelle). Dear grandfather of Sara (Spencer) and Keegan White (Kaitlyn), Keenan and Carson Massey.
He had a very peaceful passing with Terry beside him and Shelley holding his hand. There are so many people to thank. Allan and Jennifer, thank you for always being there for Shelley. Thank you to the staff and residents of Rose Glen Village who for the past 10 months have been like family. Thank you to PRHC emergency and ICU depts, NHH palliative care especially shaving him to look good for mom. Dr.Tisher, Dr. Mule, Janet Catton, Jane Spencer NP who all provided the best of care. Big thank you to our colleagues at our workplaces. Such loving, caring friends who are always there for each other. It has been a difficult year for my colleagues, but we help each other through.Thank you to Melissa, at Allison’s for taking care of both my mom and dad and helping us through a difficult time. In lieu of flowers, dad would want everyone to be kind to everyone, hug someone special in your life, and dance.
