Obituary of John Fleming Houston
John Fleming Houston
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Wednesday, November 8th in his 55th year.
John, beloved son of the late David and Jenny Houston and loving brother of David (Alison) and the late Ted (survived by sister-in-law Tammy) and loving uncle to Peter and Brandon.
Proud dad to Emily, Avery and Ashley, and papa to Cora, Ceiley, Myra and Bo. John was a loving nephew to Pat Appleman (Charlie)and cousin to Kim and Kelly.
John will be remembered by his devoted friends Michelle Millar, Tracey and Mike Harness, Steven Woolacott and Jacob Harness as well as many friends and co-workers.
There will be a private family funeral and interment with a celebration of life in the Spring.
John was an avid Hunter and Fisherman and always looked forward to heading to the Hunting Camp and would always come home with some great stories and memories.
John was a truck driver with many different companies over the years and made many long term friendships while he was out on the road.
Thank you to Dr Mule, Amber and the nursing staff at the Northumberland Hills Hospital along with the staff at Toronto General for their care in looking after John.
Donations in Johns memory can be made to The Ontario Anglers and Hunters, Northumberland Humane Society or The Northumberland Hills Hospital.
Rest in peace – you will be forever missed.
