It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Dad, Uncle, Grandfather & Friend on Sunday, April 7, 2024. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Loving son of Ralph Insley of Picton and the late Elizabeth (nee Spicer) and beloved husband for 36 years to Heather (nee Cox). Dear father of April Insley (Dawson Wood) of New Brunswick, Sean Cox of Ottawa, Virginia Parent (Sheldon) of Shannonville, Brandon Cox (Kayla Bark) of Kingston and Ryan Cox of Picton and grandfather of 16 and great grandfather of 2. Survived by his brothers Philip Insley of Picton, Jim Williams (Brenda) of Golden, BC, Bradley Hayman (Cathy) of Brighton, Mike Morris (Wanda) of Picton and Sharon of Peterborough and will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Insley rest rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at the Waring House Hall, 395 Sandy Hook Road, Picton on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 2-5 p.m. with a Time of Sharing & Tributes at 3 p.m. If desired, donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
