MILFORD, Jon Terrance
December 9, 1944 – October 26, 2024
Peacefully entered into rest at Hospice Prince Edward, with his family by his side, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, Jon Milford of Picton, died at the age of 79. Son of the late Lester Milford & Leta (nee Glenn) and beloved husband for 56 years to Bernadette (nee Lonsberry). Loving father of Lori Broad (Robert) of Napanee and grandfather of Kyle, and Holly (Izaak). Brother of the late Elaine Jones, uncle of Scott Jones (Angel) of Picton, brother-in-law of Marlene Code of Picton, Audry Spratt (Hal) of Wellington, late Diane Whiteford, and late Raymond Lonsberry. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Jon was known as the County’s Johnny Cash by many in the community and in 2017, Jon was inducted into the Prince Edward County Music Hall of Fame.
Mr. Milford rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Graveside Service was held at Glenwood Cemetery.
