O’Toole, Darrell
Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday December 10th, 2023 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Margo (nee Gillies) for 57 years. Loving father of Derek (Janice) and Stephanie Dahl (Mark). Proud Pappa of Liam O’Toole, Keegan O’Toole and Melina Dahl. Predeceased by parents Lawrence and Eileen, sister Jane Anne Sands and brother Paul O’Toole. Darrell was a long time employee of Outboard Marine from age 18 until its closure. He then went on to work in Real Estate and with the Liftlock Group. He will be missed by his friends at the Peterborough Wellness Centre. A Celebration of Life will be held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd. Peterborough on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. A Memorial Mass will take place at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains, 411 Reid St. Peterborough on Thursday, December 21st, 2023 at 1:30 P.M. Private interment Little Lake Cemetery. Donations in memory of Darrell can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Online condolences can be expressed at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com.
