Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, October 20, 2023 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Pamela Hood for 9 years. Loving father of Derek Hood (Teresa), Alison Oakley (Darrell) and step children Jonathan Buchanan (Laurie Newman) and Andrew Buchanan (Jill Chapman). Cherished grandfather of Jordan, Riley, Hunter, Hannah and great grandfather of Kayden. Sadly missed by his sister Nancy Peters (the late Jerry), his sister-in-law Cheryl Konnerth (Andy) and his many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received for eulogies beginning at 2:00 PM followed by a celebration of life until 4:00 PM. on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd.
