Rudolph (Rudy) Eric Roth, of Kitchener, passed away peacefully, November 1, 2023, with his family at his side in Peterborough (PRHC) at the age of 90.
Loving husband of over 56 years to Patricia (Pat). Pre-deceased by Rudolf Carl and Mary (McFarlane) Roth. Dear father of Laura (Jerry) Wingenroth, Eric (Christine) Freeman-Roth, and David (Julie) Roth. Wonderful Papa to Alex, Joshua, Chandler, Ian, Andrea, Ethan, Ella, Olivia and Charlie. Great-Papa to Aaron-James (AJ) and Emily. Uncle Rudy will be remembered and dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Rudy was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario and attended the Ryerson Institute of Technology, specializing in Electronics, and graduating in 1957. His first job was working for Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd. at Chalk River, ON, and later worked as a Computer Systems Analyst at Dominion Life of Canada, in Waterloo, ON. He was a member of the Kitchener Symphony Orchestra and the KW Community Orchestra, playing the violin and viola. His lifelong Christian values and his musical heritage continue with his family.

Many thanks to the incredible staff of the Palliative Care Unit at PRHC, for their care and kindness, who helped the family through a very difficult time.
