HICKSON, Rose Emmaline (nee Heffernan) (Member of the St. Martin of Tours CWL)
Peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Hickson. Loving mother of William Hickson, Paul Hickson (Vickie) and John Hickson (Cathy). Cherished grandmother of Melissa and Cole. Predeceased by her parents Francis “Frank” Heffernan and Mary (nee Burns), and her siblings Kathleen Johnson, Tom Heffernan, Marie Swift, Rita Hogan, Theresa Denham, Gerard Heffernan and Lucille McCarthy. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Throughout mom’s life her joy and happiness came from her love of family, friends and Church. Funeral Mass will be held at ST MARTINS OF TOURS ROMAN CATHOILC CHURCH 513 Ennis Rd., Ennismore on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Martin of Tours Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. In memory of Rose and in lieu of flowers donations to the St. Martins Catholic Women’s League would be appreciated by the family.
