Rowland-Patterson: Roberta “Bobbie”
Our beloved Bobbie passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Center, on the day of her 100th birthday, Sunday, October 22nd, 2023, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Justin Philip Rowland (d. 1965), her second husband Robert Patterson (d. 2022) and her infant grandchildren Justin (d. 1985) and Sarah (d. 1988).
Loving mother to Cathy Rowland, Chris Rowland (Mary) and James Rowland (Lynn) and special family friend, Graham Irwin (Joan). Loving grandmother to Angela MacKinnon (Luke), Theresa McMullen (Jeremy), Heather Rowland, Katie Rowland, Andrew Rowland and Philip Rowland.
Sadly missed by her great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and so many dear friends whom she loved very much.
A celebration of life will be held at Northminster United Church, 300 Sunset Blvd., Peterborough, on Friday, October 27th. Visitation 10am and Service at 11am. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or the Peterborough Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
