HICKEY, Peter Clarence
Peacefully with his family by his side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Collen (nee Clancey) for 53 years. Loving father of Jeff Hickey (Allison) and Terry Hickey (Vicki). Cherished grandfather of Ashtyn, Jadyn, Claire and Charlotte. Dear brother of the late John Hickey (Marrilyn), Michael Hickey (Kay), the late Anne Marie (Gary Hickey), the late Jim Hickey (Linda), the late Ruth Heffernan (the late Chris “Wink”) and the late Jane Livingstone (the late Bob). Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Butler Hickey and Florence (nee Watson). Peter was very active in the Peterborough community, volunteering with Brock Mission, St. Joseph’s at Fleming, and the Breakfast Program to name a few. Friends will be received at the HIGHLANDPARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. ANNE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 859 Barnardo Ave., Peterborough on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
