Paul Cook, distinguished businessman, beloved father, cherished grandfather, devoted husband, and passionate golfer passed away peacefully at his home on June 26, 2024 at the age the age of 74. Born to Roy and Doris Cook on December 8, 1949, Paul’s life was a testament to his deep faith and commitment to God, which guided him in all aspects of his life. His unwavering, love and devotion to his wife, Linda of 54 years, his children and his grandchildren were the cornerstones of his existence. Paul’s family was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them building lasting memories filled with love and laughter, including an entire family trip to Disney World with him zooming around on a scooter! Paul’s professional journey began with a deep-seated passion for business and finance. He forged a successful career in business, leaving a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike. Paul’s passion for golf was unmatched, and he found solace on the golf course. His enthusiasm for the game was infectious, and he cherished the friendships forged over countless rounds. Whether playing competitively, or for leisure Paul approached each game with determination and a sense of sportsmanship that endeared him to all those who played alongside him. Self proclaimed “Mr. Fix It” he could always be found puttering on something, even finding time to create a miniature train set that took over the entire basement. Paul will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his warmth, humour, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy of kindness and dedication will continue to resonate within the hearts of those fortunate to have known him. A celebration of life will be held at NORTHVIEW COMMUNITY CHURCH in Peterborough, Saturday July 6th, 2024 at 2:00 PM with a light luncheon to follow.
