THOMPSON, Patricia Elizabeth (nee Larocque, Long Time Registered Nurse Assistant at St. Joseph’s and Civic Hospital and the Peterborough Public Health Unit): Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, with family by her side on Monday, November 27, 2023 in her 74th year. Pat, beloved wife of 53 years to Ron. Loving and devoted mother of Stacey Thompson (Michael Cowling), and Jason Thompson. Cherished Grandmother of Emily Cowling, Hannah Cowling, predeceased, Tabitha, Samantha, and Colton Thompson. Dear sister of Mary Anne Larocque, Bill Larocque (Jill), the late Paul Larocque, Peter Larocque (Nancy), Bob Larocque, and sister in law of Dianne Fraser, Brenda Collins (Carl, predeceased), Roger Thompson (Janet), Randy Thompson (Ria), Deb Riel (Rick), Sherry Migliaccio (Joe, predeceased), Rob Thompson, Chris Thompson (Linda), and Karen Thompson. Remembered lovingly by her many nieces and nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Bill Sr., and Mary Larocque. Relatives and friends are invited to Pat’s Memorial Service in the Chapel of Highland Park Funeral Centre on Friday, December 8th 2023 at 2:00pm. Internment Highland Park Cemetery followed by a reception in Highland Reception Centre. In her memory, donations to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be appreciated by her family.
