BLACKWOOD, Mary Annette (nee Whitehead) (Retired RPN St. Joseph’s Hospital)
Peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming on Thursday, June 6, 2024 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Blackwood. Loving mother of Lynda Mills and her husband Ron, the late Richard Blackwood and his wife Sharon, and Shawn Blackwood and his wife Kathy. Cherished grandmother of Rhonda Murphy (Scott), Stephen Mills, Duane Blackwood, Stacey Blackwood, the late Gregory Blackwood, Shawna Blackwood, and Emma Blackwood. Sadly missed by her 6 great grandchildren and her 2 great great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Walter Whitehead and Ada (nee Payne), and her brothers and sisters Mary Ellis (Gord), George Whitehead (Carmell), Reginald (Triva), Katherine DeLaire (Leo) and Joan Lewis (Guy). There will be a Celebration of Life Reception held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 PM. Private Graveside Service.
