LEACH, Keary Joy: After a lengthy illness at Peterborough Regional Health Centre she passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at the age of 50 years. Keary, beloved wife of Ryan Lenethen. Cherished daughter of the late Gordon Leach and Joyce Fleguel. Loving sister of Kevin Leach of Ottawa, and Kim O’Connor (Dean) of Toronto. Sister-in-law of Echo Dyan of Halifax, N.S., and daughter-in-law of LeRoy and Pat Lenethen.
She was born and raised in Pembroke, went to school and then worked in Peterborough, where she fell in love and got married to her husband Ryan. She was beautiful, smart, fun, who loved to laugh, and was an avid fan and practitioner of both music and art. She enjoyed Trivia and Karaoke, the company of many friends, and was well regarded in the community both socially and from work. She also dearly loved her little man Jethro, her cat of 20 years. Through her illness she also highlighted her resiliency, determination, strength, and bravery.
Visitation at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Monday, December 23rd from 1:00 to 2:00pm followed by a Funeral Service in the Highland Chapel at 2:00pm. Those unable to attend can view Keary’s Funeral Service via Live Streamed on Highland Park website. Interment Highland Park Cemetery.
