HEDGES, John William Charles: Peacefully at Extendicare Home with family by his side on Saturday, June 1, 2024 in his 76th year. John, beloved son of the late Daniel Hedges and Beverley Thompson. Dear brother of David (Cheryl), Audrey Armitage (Don), and predeceased by his sister Donna Hedges. Remembered lovingly by his nieces and nephews and by his Aunt’s Doreena Thompson and Nancy Sloan. John was a long time employee of Sears Canada and a faithful and dedicated member of the Peterborough Lions Club. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service in the Chapel of Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Friday, June 7th at 2:00pm. Interment Highland Park Cemetery followed by a reception in Highland Reception Centre. In memory of John, and in lieu of flowers, donations to Guide Dogs or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
