Eric’s family announce his passing at St. Joseph’s at Fleming on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the age of 77.
Eric leaves behind his daughters Michelle Petraitis (Reed) of Trenton and Tammy Biggar (Norm) of Peterborough, his 7 grandchildren Justin, Kaleb, Kira, Jonah, Lexi, Levi and Jada. He is also survived by his sisters Marilyn McLean (Bill) of Peterborough, Linda Wrightly (Allan) of Havelock, Elizabeth Toms (Gord) of Douro-Dummer and Ruthanne Miles of Peterborough, his brother Stephen Miles (Debbie) of Douro-Dummer, his special brother-in-law Jerome Healey (Linda) of Peterborough, many nieces and nephews, and his extended family at St. Joseph’s at Fleming.
Eric is predeceased by his beloved wife Carol (nee Healey) (decd. 2015), son Eric Jr. (decd. 2003), brother Bill (decd. 2002), and parents Clifford (decd. 2015) and Shirley (nee Boate) (decd. 2003).
A Memorial Service will be held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. followed by interment at Highland Park Cemetery and a light luncheon.
