BAKER, Bruce Arthur
1932-2023
With sad hearts we announce the passing of our Dad, Gramps, Great-Gramps Bruce on Friday, November 24, 2023.
Predeceased by his wife Beth, his parents Edith and Ernest and special Dad Lew and his brother Howard along with sisters-and brothers-in-law.
Dad will be missed by his son Scott (Karen), daughter Cathy Cardwell (Kevin), grandsons Mark (Joy) and John, and great-granddaughter Emmy.
Dad also leaves behind his sister-in-law Mary Dobson (Lloyd deceased) and his niece and nephews.
Dad was born in Precious Corners and moved to Peterborough in 1952. He worked at CGE, many years in Nuclear, and retired after 40 years.
Dad was active and enjoyed many years trap shooting at the Cobourg and Peterborough gun clubs.
Scott, Cathy, and families thank all the nurses and staff of B6 PRHC for their kind and compassionate care they provided to Dad.
At Dad’s wishes cremation will occur and no service is planned.
