Allin “Jim” McBain Obituary
While surrounded by the love of his family, Jim passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the age of 76. Jim is survived by his son’s William (Lisa) and Robert (Tara); Beloved grandchildren Henry, Charlotte and Ellie; Sister-in-law Holly McBain; Nephew’s Kelly McBain (Angela), Drew McBain (Carol), and Tyler Warman, and niece Amanda McBain. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Sadie (nee Allin) McBain, and brother Donald McBain. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his family, friend’s; both past and present; in Cavan Township, and all who knew him. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 2:30 P.M. followed by a reception. In memory of Jim, donations to PRHC Palliative Care or the Mount Pleasant Women’s Institute Hall would be greatly appreciated by the family.
