Reginald J. Goslett (Reg), 69, of Parry Sound, Ontario passed away peacefully on Friday April 26th, 2024, in the care of the West Parry Sound Health Centre where he succumbed to his battle with lung cancer.
Reg was born on August 28th, 1954, to Montague William Goslett and Helen Irene Goslett (Jerman) in Toronto, Ontario. Reg grew up in Willowdale, in Toronto, and graduated from Newtonbrook Secondary School.
Reg moved to Parry Sound as a young man and taught himself carpentry and construction skills. He built himself a cottage where he made some of his best memories hosting friends and family for many years to come. Reg went on to run Mill Lake Home Improvements, his construction & contracting business well-known for his high-quality work and commitment to his customers. Reg eased into his retirement when he spent his remaining years enjoying his time with friends and family, trips to his cottage, and never stopped working on his house in Parry Sound.
Reg is survived by his children, Andrew J. Goslett and Jennifer L. Goslett.
A visitation in Reg’s memory will be held at Torrance Funeral Home in Parry Sound, on Wednesday May 22nd from 1 – 2 pm. In Reg’s honour and for his family’s gratitude for the care he received, donations may be made to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation in his name.
