It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jamie Texmo, age 58, on
January 17th, 2024 at West Parry Sound Health Centre.
Beloved son of John & Sharon Todd and the late Kenneth Texmo.
Jamie was a cherished father to Nicole Phillips-Texmo (Jamie) and Joslyn (Eric) Willemsen.
Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jack, FInn, Charlie, Gabriel, Owen & Rhylee.
Forever remembered by his siblings Jeff (Nancy) Texmo, Jackie (Mike) Tranter and Dwayne
(NiIki) Todd. Uncle to Joel, Lucas, Jacob, Oriea, LIam, Bella and Aubrey.
Deceased grandparents Ted & Pearl Quinn and Byron & Elsie Texmo.
Jamie had a huge heart and caring nature. He loved his family, especially his grandkids who
affectionately referred to him as “Grampa Treats”. Some of his favorite time with them was
watching their hockey and soccer games. Jamie loved the outdoors, especially boating on
Georgian Bay. He will be forever missed by all his family, friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the DOC ROB fund would be greatly appreciated.
As was Jamie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later
date.
