Peacefully passed away at Belvedere Heights Home for the Aged on Wednesday June 26, 2024 at the age of 88. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a faithful servant of God. His life was a testimony to his unwavering faith and commitment to following the teachings of Jesus Christ. Predeceased by his first wife Maryna. Cherished by his wife Joyce (Cerminara). Loving father of Annette Pastoor and Tim Pastoor (Kathy). Cherished grandfather of Joshua (Michelle), Jacob (Ashley) and Jordan. Proud great-grandfather of Jaden. Survived by his sister Jan (the late Jerry), and brother George (Dieneke). Predeceased by his brother Bob and sister Marian. Missed by his nieces, nephews, and extended family. Friends will be received at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (Parry Sound) on Wednesday July 3, 2024 from 1 – 2 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 2 PM. Interment Sylvan Acres at a later date. If desired, donations to The Gideons would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Torrance Funeral Home & Chapel (89 Bowes St., Parry Sound).
