Peter’s Obituary
In loving memory of Peter Hughes, born on September 21, 1943. Passed away peacefully on April 7th, 2024, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by parents John and Frida Mycock. Peter is survived by his loving wife Maxine Cobb Hughes. Forever loved father of Peter (Amber Lynn Koehler) Hughes, Darlene (Derrick) Hayes. Cherished grandfather of Damien Hughes, Samantha McCowan, Tamara (Kyle Bossence) Vandeweil and great- grandfather of Amelia Walsh, Lloyd and Charolette Bossence. Cherished brother of Rosalind (Roy) Marchington, Avril Oldham and Robert (Linda) Hughes. Peter will be dearly missed by his extended family, friends and former colleagues. We will forever treasure the many conversations had while fixing something in the shed.
Friends will be welcomed at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Rd, Paris on Saturday April 20th, 2024 between 2-4pm. In accordance with Peter’s expressed wishes, cremation has already taken place. In Peter’s memory, donations to Shriners Hospitals For Children Canada would be appreciated by the family.
