Maxine’s Obituary
On Friday October 25, 2024, the gates of heaven swung open wide, a loving voice said, ‘Maxine, come home’. She took her Master’s hand and her life on earth was done. Maxine Whynott was a centenarian, reaching the age of 100 on September 17, 2024. Predeceased by her devoted husband Ron Whynott (2014). Beloved mother of Patricia and the late John (2024) (the late Wendy). Cherished grandmother of Terry (Erin), Kerri (George), Sherri (Adam), and Hastings (Bria). Great-grandmother of Matthew (Tara), Jordan (Brit), Jackson (Lily), Cameron, Jillian, Christopher & Johnathan and great-great grandmother Addison and Enzo.
Friends will be welcomed at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, on Friday November 1, 2024 from 12 – 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Pastor Stephen Woods will officiate. Maxine’s service will be live streamed starting at 12:50 p.m. Interment service will follow in the Paris Cemetery. In Maxine’s memory, donations to either World Vision or Operation Eyesight would be appreciated by the family. The Whynott family would like to thank the staff at Charlotte Villa and the Palliative Care Team (especially Floria and Tanya) for their excellent, attentive and loving care.
