Isabel Lamont Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System – Owen Sound on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Born in Miminegash, PEI, on June 20, 1929, Isabel Erma Lamont (nee Costain) of Owen Sound, was in her 95th year.
Beloved wife of the late James Lamont. Loving mother of Andy Lamont (Cassie) of Port Hope, Myra Wiseman (Doug) of Owen Sound, and Ian Lamont (Lauren Miller) of Owen Sound. Cherished grandma of Bethany Wiseman (Brendan Derry), Holly Salter (Robin) and Doug Miller. Dear sister of Ivy Maxwell. Isabel will also be missed by her great grandchildren Charlie and Miles Salter, Allegra and Finnian Derry, nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents George and Jessie Costain, siblings, Myra Williams (Keith), Celesta Sawyer (John), Peter Costain (Ruby), Shirley Gillis (Basil).
In keeping with Isabel’s wishes, a funeral service will be held at a later date in PEI. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
