Passed away peacefully at Chapman House on December 14, 2023, with his family by his side. Born in Teeswater on February 23, 1946, Francis Bertan Schneider of Owen Sound, was in his 78th year.
Beloved husband of Norma Schneider (nee Greig) of Owen Sound. Loving father of Ted Schneider (Andrea) of Owen Sound, and Natasha Schneider of Vancouver. Cherished grandpa of Cooper, Charlie and Abby. Dear brother of Gary Schneider (Carol) of Mildmay, Ione Self (Dave) of Walkerton, Ron Schneider of Guelph, Joe Schneider (Patti) of Aurora, Eugenia Rawn (Harry) of Owen Sound, Phylis O’Malley (Kevin) of Point Clark, and Murray Schneider (Lois) of Hamilton. Bert will also be missed by his nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents William and Reba Schneider, and by his sister Juanita Schneider.
Bert absolutey loved his grandchildren. They were the best part of his life, his pride and joy.
A come and go memorial visitation will be held at the Owen Sound Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 6, 1450 2nd Ave W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7784, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 3-8 p.m.
