Tysick, Randy William
It is with sadness that our family announces the passing of Randy William Tysick on February 29, 2024, at the age of 53. Randy grew up and called Nepean, Ontario home his entire life.
Born the son of Gordon Tysick (Sue) and Darlene Tysick (née Schultz), he was the beloved husband of Janet (Foley) and proud father to Alina Tysick. Brother to Leanne Tysick and brother-in-law to Cathy (Mike Code) and Dennis Foley (Christine Lauzon). Special son-in law to Donna Foley and the late John Foley. Will be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Randy lived a very modest lifestyle, and as a career he ensured the safety of school children and Ottawa University students, driving them to their destinations for over 20 years. For relaxation, he could be found at the Code’s Cottage in Norway Bay, Quebec, enjoying the peaceful daytime moments and watching his daughter and nieces cause chaos in the late evenings.
A gathering of remembrance and celebration will be held at the River Lounge Restaurant & Banquet Centre, 2259 Prince of Wales Dr, Nepean, ON, on March 23rd between 12:00pm to 3:00pm, with words of memory at 1:00pm, for all those wishing to attend and pay their respect.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society – Colon Cancer Research or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
