Passed away suddenly at home on the night of September 16th, 2024 in his 64th year. Beloved son of Winnifred Lambert Meek and the late David McBride. Proud father of Jon Ruptash. Dear brother of Deborah McBride(Terence) and Daniel McBride(Tammy). Dearly loved uncle of Christopher, Josh, Ashley and Lindsay. Fondly remembered by many cousins and friends.
At an early age Shawn went out west and later he proudly served in the Canadian Military.
In memory of Shawn, a donation to the Ottawa Humane Society, 245 W Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON, K2E 1A6 would be appreciated.
