Obituary of Raymond Lee
In Loving Memory of Raymond Lee
Raymond Lee was born on October 23, 1949, in Canton, China. He spent his early years in Hong Kong, where he attended high school, before moving to Canada to pursue his education and build a fulfilling life. He studied at the University of Toronto, earning a Bachelor of Science degree, and later attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver to begin his career as a pharmacist.
In 1978, Raymond married Marian. Together, they enjoyed happy moments and went through different trials. They resided in several cities, including Sudbury and St. Catharine’s, before finally settling in Ottawa, where they lived until the present. Raymond and Marian were blessed with three wonderful children—Rebecca, Monica, and Philip—and four beloved grandchildren—Evie, Jonathan, Ellie, and Wally.
Throughout his career, Raymond was a dedicated pharmacist, owning and operating a Shoppers Drug Mart franchise for many years. Known for his warm and caring nature, he built strong relationships with his customers and brought comfort to countless lives. Beyond his career, Raymond had a lifelong passion for martial arts, and he shared his skills as a teacher to many students.
We give thanks for Raymond’s life and providing him with a good loving family. He is now at peace with the Lord in heaven. May his soul rest in peace.
