C’est avec un immense chagrin que nous vous annonçons le décès de Maurice Prud’homme, survenu le 29 septembre 2023 à l’âge de 78 ans. Né à Cheney, Ontario, il était le fils de feu Roger et de feu Marie Prud’homme. Il est décédé paisiblement entouré de sa famille. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Nicole Jacques, ses enfants Philippe (Chantal Souligny) et Martin (Mylène LeBlanc), ses petites-filles Ariane et Audrey, ses frères Claude (Rollande), Michel et sa soeur Lorraine Kisby (feu Bob). Il laisse également plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et amis. Il fut précédé par son frère Marcel (Carmen). Nous remercions toutes les personnes qui nous ont soutenu tout au long de la maladie de Maurice, ainsi que le personnel pour leur compassion et leurs soins attentionnés. La famille recevra parents et amis au Complexe Funéraire Héritage, 1250 chemin Trim, Orléans, le mercredi 4 octobre à compter de 9h30 suivie d’une célébration dans la chapelle à 11h. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Maurice on September 29, 2023 at the age of 78. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Nicole Jacques, devoted father of Philippe (Chantal Souligny) and Martin (Mylène LeBlanc), cherished grandfather of Ariane and Audrey, he leaves behind his brothers Claude (Rollande), Michel and his sister Lorraine Kisby (the late Bob), as well by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Roger and Marie Prud’homme and his brother Marcel (Carmen). The family would like to thank everyone who provided support throughout Maurice’s illness. Special thanks to the personnel for their great care and compassion. A celebration of life will take place at the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, Orléans, Ontario on October 4 , 2023 with visitation starting at 9:30 am. A ceremony will follow at 11 am in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County dementiahelp.ca.
