It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of James (Jim) MacPhee, with his wife Yvonne and sons David and Daniel by his side, on January 2, 2024, at the age of 56.
Jim was predeceased by his mother Natalie and is survived by his father Bob (Carol), brother Bill (Mary), and sister Val. He will be missed dearly by all his family and friends.
Jim will be fondly remembered for his humor, openness and spirit of adventure. These qualities took him travelling around the world before working with an NGO in Africa and served him well in his job as an executive in the federal government. In his personal life, he was a positive, generous and loving person and always chose to make the best of all and any circumstances. Till the end he maintained “We’re always good”.
A special thank you to the staff at the Lindenwood wing of the Glebe Centre and his personal care team throughout the years.
