Obituary of Gwendolyn Foley (nee Hellard)
It is with great sadness that we announce Gwendolyn Hannah passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 20, 2024. Born July 9, 1930 to Allan and Edith Hellard (Pre-Deceased). Devoted wife to Carl Foley (predeceased in 1994) and loving Mother to Michael (predeceased in 2018) and Jay (predeceased in 2022). She will be missed dearly by her 3 siblings Beverly, Kenneth (Gloria) and Brenda (Larry) and predeceased by her sisters Ruby, Marion, Elsie and her brother Robert. She will also be missed by her Grand-daughters Julie (Josh), Allison (Sean) and Madison, and her 5 great grandchildren. She loved her family and enjoyed many years at her cottage in Norway Bay.
Her family would like to acknowledge the caring staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for all their support and kindness.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 12:00pm, at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road.
Her family would be honoured to have you join us for a glass of wine and saying goodbye to Gwen.
