Died unexpectedly at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 81. Son of the late Henri and Rose (née Fortier) Aubin of Martintown. Survived by his daughter, Joanne Aubin (Jerome Charbonneau) of Apple Hill and his son Christopher of Edmonton. Also survived by two sisters, Colombe Amelotte (late Rene) and Reina Drouin (late Rudy), both of Cornwall and one brother, Remi of Martintown. Also survived by two grandchildren, Roselle Quesnel (Andrés Galleano) and Alexandre Quesnel (Maryse Charlebois) and three great-grandchildren Arthur, Claire & Charles. Also survived by three stepsons, Robert and Richard of Ottawa and Ronald Boisvert of Edmonton. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Margot) Boisvert, and four brothers: Raymond (late Leola), Roger (Connie), Leo (late Leona) and Laurier “Joe” (Gilberte “Jill”).
Cremation has taken place and at the request of Gerald, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place at St. Williams Cemetery, Martintown on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 11 am.
